can I wear my charleston back brace during the day instead of while sleeping?

I have to wear a charleston bending brace to help correct my scoliosis. I have trouble sleeping in it so can I wear it for a few hours during the day?

1. Of course you can. But I think the Orthopedics' Specialist/Surgeon would prefer it if you wore it longer than that. I just wear my Boston Brace even I sleep so that's around eight hours. I use to wear it to school but it was seriously inconvenient so I just wore it to bed. The more hours you wear, the better. I suggest you try to wear your Charleston Brace when you're sleeping, because for me - It's the easiest option. A really long time and your sleeping anyway. Though I sometimes take it off during the middle of the night, but yeah. In my opinion it's better because you're less active when you sleep. But seriously, it's all up to you! :) Good luck.
